August 24, 2018 Back To School With A Record Bull Market On Wednesday the stock market broke a record: the longest bull market rally in U.S. trading history. It's been more than nine years and five months since the dark days of March 2009, when the S&P 500 Index hit bottom and began to climb. It's still climbing. There is a lot of speculation about when or whether it will end. One thing is certain, markets move in cycles. The key is to ensure that your financial plan has the right asset allocation to help you keep moving toward your long-term goals as the market keeps moving too. With September only a couple of weeks away, back-to-school is on many minds. The fall is a good time to reach out to the kids in your life to help them get or stay on the right track money-wise. And, if your children are grown, they can have a positive impact in helping you with your retirement planning. It's important to have open communication about your long-term financial goals and money management with your kids, at every age.
