1 in 10 adults in Michigan has diabetes. Diabetes needs attention every day, but it can be managed! There are over 90 certified programs across Michigan that meet quality standards for diabetes self-management education and support. Diabetes educators at each of the programs help people living with diabetes (or at risk for the disease) design a program that speaks directly to that person’s needs.
